Consultation on New Parent Partners in the Arts Program
In 2002 CTL consulted with staff of the Prichard Committee on the design and implementation of a new Parent Partners in the Arts program as a component of Prichard's Commonwealth Institute for Parent Leadership. The program works with parents on arts-related projects in schools.
Different Ways of Knowing Parents and Teachers Talking Together
CTL also worked with Prichard Committee staff to design and implement a special Different Ways of Knowing Parents and Teachers Talking Together (DWoK PT3) program aimed at helping parents and teachers understand the changes occurring in schools that were implementing new teaching and learning strategies under Different Ways of Knowing.
CTL Advisory Board
The Prichard Committee was one of the original state-level organizations to serve on the CTL's advisory board, and was instrumental in the development of the 1996 Arts, Culture and Technology plan for Kentucky, a plan designed and implemented by the Galef Institute and CTL .
