CTL Blog & Social Networks

CTL's blog Co-Creating Solutions is designed to encourage and support professional conversation about teaching and learning.  The blog provides an online platform for current and timely discussions on a variety of subjects and topics. Blog writers include CTL staff members,  and reader participation in conversations is encouraged.

Co-Creating Solutions is organized with RSS feeds so that readers can subscribe to either the entire blog, or to posts by certain CTL staff members.  To follow posts about certain topics or from certain bloggers, subscribe by topic or blogger and receive notification by RSS.

CTL manages social networks designed to develop professional learning communities of educators and others interested in our work.  These are related to current programs or focus areas.

Interested subscribers must first request membership.  You'll be asked to answer a few questions about your interest in being a member of the network(s) you indicate:

  • Content Literacy social network for educators interested in promoting a literate approach to teaching content.  (To request to join this network, click on Sign Up in the upper right-hand corner of the Ning.)
  • Global Literacy social network for educators and others interested in CTL's partnership with the International Reading Association (IRA), Nokia and the Pearson Foundation, bringing IRA's Diagnostic Teaching Model to teachers around the world, through combined local and mobile training.
