Primary Work: CTL's primary work is the design and delivery of effective professional development. We provide direct services to schools, school districts, colleges and universities. We also work on behalf of other education agencies and organizations to improve K-16 teaching and learning. In addition, we can be a partner in applying for a public or privately funded grant, or a provider under such a grant.
CTL can work with clients withing a brief, fixed time frame, or over the long haul in a multi-year effort. We design our work to suit your needs. Please see Products and Services for detailed information.
Evaluation/Results: CTL's focus is on improving instruction by obtaining and applying real evidence. We monitor our work both internally and externally through continuous assessment based on standards, and continuous gathering of evidence to inform adjustments and re-design. Major projects are typically measured by external experts in research and evaluation, and results are reported to funders, granting agencies, project stakeholders and other interested parties.
Funding: CTL is funded primarily through fee for service contracts, and corporate, foundation and government grants.
