The Different
Ways of Knowing whole school reform process provides teachers
with an exciting approach to reaching all children! New teaching
practices in Different Ways of Knowing provide teachers with in-depth
knowledge and tools for seeing results.

- Visual and performing arts materials
A three-year course of study for professional growth

The
Galef Institute, a national, non-profit education reform
organization based in Los Angeles California, developed Different
Ways of Knowing. The Institute's primary goal is to work with educators
to improve student achievement and accelerate school reform by strengthening
the teaching profession.
